It would make a great talking point if you were doing a unit on the community or just a unit on working together. The author uses different occasions and times that people unite and share in the same things. The illustrations are fantastic and depict a diverse range of people. Very inclusive. All in all this is a great book to illustrated and highlight the concept of community and doing good for each other.

This book is excellent for young readers of age around 4 to 8 years old because it uses many pictures and simple sentences. It also gives parents great ideas to share to their children in making a healthier community when they read aloud this book to their children. It is a great seed of kindness for children to make a better world towards the future in their community.

Together Is Better by Diane Costa, and published by Language Lizard, is a beautiful story about how a community is better because of the people in it. The illustrations by Grace Tan are colorful and depict many different ethnicities and community events making it easy for children to see themselves and their community in the story. It also features a QR code in the front for lesson plans and activities for teachers that use the book in their classroom. This is a great addition to the Language Lizard collection and is available in several languages. This book was #gifted from #ReadYourWorld
