This is my first, but certainly not my last book from Language Lizard. The story itself is one I know from my childhood. Now, I can share it with students in simplified Chinese! they are going to be so excited to see a different language in print. It is worth to note that this would not be appropriate for younger kids, but I personally skip over those pages when reading to my students. Grateful to have a location to order wonderful bilingual books!

Fairy Tale in Croatian

This book was purchased as a Christmas Gift for a 84 year old friend who was born in Croatia, came to the U.S. shortly after WWII, and now lives with one of her grandsons and his family which currently includes her two great granchildren, ages 3 and 1. She likes to speak to them in Croatian and was very delighted to receive this book to share with them.

First: I so appreciate your company and that books are available in so many languages.
I picked the wrong book. I was looking for something to send to my little girl in Africa. I had never read this book and was disappointed in the killing. Not your fault by any means. I reckon we have all seen to much killing in our lives.
